The correlation between an object and the context as to how it is viewed is a relationship that has always intrigued me The plinth used to elevate work is regarded as just a fixture. I have used a plinth as the central focus in my work. By inserting 3 plinths together i am removing the sense of fixture and inserting it purely as a found object. I have deconstructed and rotated these found objects to give it a new perspective.
This piece was created using found objects as part of the greetings space travellers group exhibition in the Oriel Henry Thomas.
